After graduating from Harvard University, Doug took an 8-year sabbatical into the business world of information technology services. Next was running two cattle ranches while earning a law degree from Santa Clara University... and then a dozen years as legal counsel and corporate executive in real estate investment, development, management and finance.

In 1988, Doug settled in with his daughter and son at their home on Bainbridge Island... with a dog, a cat, a passion for real estate... and a dedication to service.

With his "kids" grown and independent, in 2002 Doug moved to Poulsbo to be centrally located and better serve his clients' needs throughout Kitsap County.

Pioneering Quality Relationships

Concerned that homebuyers did not then have their own real estate agents, in the early 1990's Doug helped bring buyer agent representation to residential real estate in Washington... which became the legal standard in 1997.

Providing confidential representation since 1992... and being the first ABR Accredited Buyer Representative real estate agent for Bainbridge Island and Kitsap County, Doug is years ahead of others in developing new approaches tailored to helping buyers.
