Island Geography...
Its 28 square miles of land wrapped by 53 miles of Puget Sound shoreline is home to 20,000+ islanders. The island city's greatest land dimensions are about 12 miles north-to-south and 4 miles east-to-west.

Connected to the Kitsap Peninsula by State Hwy 305 across the Agate Passage Bridge and to Seattle by ferry from Eagle Harbor... downtown Seattle's easiest and most enjoyable suburban commute.

Shopping & Dining...
Downtown "Winslow" on the north shore of Eagle Harbor is an easy and fun several blocks of markets, banks, restaurants, book stores and galleries, entertainment, health care, specialty stores... bordered by Waterfront Park on the harbor.

Villages at Rolling Bay, Lynwood Center and Island Center provide more shopping and eating places. Plus a shopping center just north of Winslow.

Education & Arts...
Bainbridge's Own School District, supported by active parents, volunteers and enviable tax and charitable backing, is one of Washington's best. Complemented by special programs, private schools and home schooling coordinated with the public district.
